CJ7 vs CJ5 front bumper mounts???

Here's an off-topic question .... I'm looking at replacing my front bumper b/c I just want one that looks cooler. ... But, the one I really like says it fits 76-86 CJ-7 but not my 77 CJ-5. Are the bumper mounts really different? And if so, how different? Anyone have pictures before I go ordering ???

Thanks in advance!

There is no difference. Just a poor listing by the vendor.

Yup same thing. I have noticed vendors tend to forget about the cj5 a lot.

Just remember normally most parts go between the 5 and 7, unless it is frame/door/top/driveshaft related... That extra few inches in the door area is the only difference between the two models.
