I've manhandled my CJ5 tub by myself and it's not easy. I have a flat dolly that helps to move it around on. But you will certainly need a minimum of 2 people to pick it up and flip it over, etc. I'm guessing they weigh in the neighborhood of 300-400lbs.

You can use an engine hoist to pick it up/set it down (wrap a strap or chain around the rollbar). Once I have it off, I set it on moving dollies to move around and it's fairly easy to tip it up and over.

Getting it off is where you'll need extra help. I can turn mine over by myself. Just make sure there's something like a rug or several layers of cardboard under the edges when you turn it over so you don't scuff up the paint.

2 people to pull mine, as well as to flip and move it around the garage. Used 4 people to put it back on

Hey Jeepskate, is the any way to use the hoist if the rollbar isn't in the tub?

You can also thread eye bolts into the front and back seat bolt holes if your floor is intact. I found some years ago that are the same thread pitch as the seat bolts and have used them on many jeep projects.

Using "I" bolts has always worked for me. A stripped down tub only weighs about 250lbs. if that.
