CJ7 Tire Carrier

My brother recently bought a CJ7 and he's keeping it on 31's.

Where can you buy a OEM tire carrier that bolts to the tub? Or can you even find them anymore?

I just sold a carrier and I see them on Ebay and Craiglist on a regular basis.

Now we have Obama, no Hope, and no Cash

They show up on eBay and Craigslist regularly. I've been half-heartedly watching, but think I'll be holding out for an aftermarket carrier - better able to hold the 31's, along with jerry cans and a jack if I need it.

Thanks, I'll keep an eye out.

But I'm talking about like an actual company that sells them. Maybe Quadratec or 4WP or something.

Tire Carrier

I just bought a tire carrier from Black Paw Innovations that is a hitch mount. I hope it works considering the inflated price!!

I have one that I just took off my CJ. But my tub is a YJ tub and I think I had to make brackets for the hinge ends which had slightly different holes in them than a CJ tub had. It has been a long time since I did that and I don't remember what the original CJ tub bracket looked like. PM me if you want a picture or any other info about my carrier. I would sell it if I could find a way to ship it.

Nope, you're either looking at an original ($50-100) or an aftermarket that has more bells and whistles ($200-700).

Send me a pm, and when I swap on the new bumpers I'm making, I will give you mine. I won't need it and all you'll have to pay is shipping.
