CJ7 Laredo spring question

As far as I know the springs on the cj7 Laredo came factory with a 2.5 inch lift. So in order to replace factory springs should I buy 2.5 inch lift springs? It's a 1985 cj7 Laredo edition. Thanks in advanced!

Ive never heard anything like that, with stock springs you shouod be able to run 31" tires.

Fist I've heard of this. Far as I know, Laredo was a trim package... had nothing to do with suspension lift.

True, in fact a lift suspension wasn't ever an option from the factory. Only heavier spring rates for the plow option.

Like the others have said. Laredo, renegade & CJ's without stickers all had the same springs. If you want springs with 2.5" of lift, you'll need to buy them preferably for the front and rear.
