Yep. I have seen it were they weld the roll bar back on at at 90 degrees. It is an interesting look but I think it is practical.

I am not aware of any mods other than the rollbar that you have to make but I would think that everything else would be the same.

Yup, been covered here before and there's even pics. Trying to remember the user name to help with your search. I'll bet if you look through the roll call sticky post as the top of the forum you'll find it.

You can get the early style rollbar that bolts to the wheel wells.

Been there, done that, got the Jeep.

The tub has to be the 1980 or later. The roll bar has to be the 1976-78.

I am in the process of doing this right now... unfortrunately I have sidetracked with the tranny, motor and transmission at hte moment, but I did put the bulkhead in to see if it would fit.

I am using a 95 YJ tub however, but the basics should be the same.
Put the bulkhead in, where you think it should be, clamp it in place, put the top on, attach it, make sure that fits right and then drill some holes down in the tub and maybe even the side ones will line up, who knows.

NOTE: Tub show is an 89 that I ditched in favor of the more solid 95, but dimensionally they are the same.

It kind of reminds me of a shortened AEV Brute TJ conversion
