OK-my CRS was in full bloom Also, my son has my FSM, so I could not look it up.
Still need to see what the level is run'n, to best set the float.

Ok so let me get this right... im going to take everything off the top of the bowl section of the carb. Take out the spring and check valve... then i plug the hole where the check valve went??

CORRECTION!!!!
Where the piston next to the acc. pump goes is what needs to be plugged.....

Be freak'n carefull on start up, as you have a cup of 'open' gas.
FWIW: an old AMC 'wrench' taught me this trick.

hahah Good point, Ill grab a small clean rag and a big towl to put out flams.... or would it suck up the gas and turn into a tortch?? haha brb...

As a side note, 86 and LG, what idle rpm do you prefer for the bbd?
650, 750?

Hold that though, have to wait for a lightning storm to pass. Although that would be one hell of a story to tell my kids... Back when i was a boy...

750-800 because when you 'load' the ele system with lights etc. it will drop some in rpms. You want to keep the battery charged at the stop light.
