CJ6 Roll cage thoughts

Thoughts on a roll cage? It currently has a CJ7 roll bar (these are old pics from when I had it stripped down for painting) that I modified, which looks ok, but makes it look... not unique. I have two schools of thought- 1) full six point roll cage...ehh... or preferably 2) a truck cab like cage. I tend to like the truck style cage as its more reflective of what the 6 was designed as. Plus- a little more unique, but would like feedback.

I tend to agree. Your CJ-5.5 has me intrigued... Still in concept phase?

I'm impressed & interested in your CJ6 build.

I'm starting my own CJ6 project & can't wait to see the roll cage finished.

Haven't gotten to the cage yet. Started digging and am replacing and reinforcing the bed as we speak. Need to get that all worked out prior to developing the roll cage. Will likely go with Option A as so I can have some coverage for kids in the rear. Finally broke down and got a back seat to make it a troop transporter.

Standard style just stretched a bit over the door opening to make getting in easier.
