Alright wizard, we had a blast. We didnt do much, the most interesting part of the day is when I was in a small creek bottom with steep sides. I was attempting to back up and turn around, and I pulled the jeep on a very uneven slope, and I was holding myself up with my elbow on the ground besides me lol, extreme angle. Jeep flexed and did great, no complaints.
So figured I would share a story. Something that happened out on the trails yesterday, which we got some video and pictures, just waiting for them to be uploaded. Anyways, I was going up what I like to call my Arch Nemesis hill, which its the one where I almost rolled down backwards. This time I was going up it, and had it right at the top and my rear driverside tire came off its bead. So I was on this incline, and we had to get my buddies jeep up there and hook up the winch to it. That way its being held there, and we jacked up up, thank god for High lift jacks, and put the tire back on - Thank god for the nv50 air compressor, great investments at work. Oh yeah and a ratchet strap to press the tire on.
Its been awhile since I have posted on here. Internet access and all. Things have been getting tough since I lost my job. I recently joined the navy as well, so this is really my last free summer for awhile probably.
But I installed powersteering this last week, thanks to mxracer for giving me the powersteering box. I also painted it yellow, added rocker panels, and my cb and 102" whip antenna. All cell phone pics
Genuine Roll on John Deere yellow paint job. Took me about 4 hours. lol
