CJ5 Restoration Thread
Okay this is going to take me a while to complete because it is quite a project but I am going to take pictures every step of the way while I and some buddies restore a utility CJ5. Originally it was used by the gas company and only has 8,800 miles. It has been sitting for quite a while, it's a little rough, and needs some TLC but it'll be one of a kind when i'm done...Or atleast i hope. I bought it for $800.

thats the most unique 5 i have ever seen...
have fun and good luck finding all the parts you will need... looks like a really fun project love the seat covers.... never seen a dually jeep

Nice jeep id love for my 5 to be like that. im in the process of restoring too. but mine is easy it came with a fiberglass tub and fenders but needs complete suspension and interior

SWEET! So are you going to use the F-head engine? and rebuild the what is most likely a t-90 transmission, and so on and so forth? or will you drop in something else? I'm going to kick back and watch this
