CJ5 Restoration Thread

Okay this is going to take me a while to complete because it is quite a project but I am going to take pictures every step of the way while I and some buddies restore a utility CJ5. Originally it was used by the gas company and only has 8,800 miles. It has been sitting for quite a while, it's a little rough, and needs some TLC but it'll be one of a kind when i'm done...Or atleast i hope. I bought it for $800.

Here's some pics of it for the before shots:

SWEET! So are you going to use the F-head engine? and rebuild the what is most likely a t-90 transmission, and so on and so forth? or will you drop in something else? I'm going to kick back and watch this

BTW those leaf spring packs make my one ton truck's leaf packs look tiny!

I'm using all the stuff thats on it. It's only got 8,800 miles on it so it should be alright...i hope. It even still has the orignal tires on it. Oh and yeah those springs are HUGE! lol and the coils that are with those leafs are quite beafy too! lol
