cj5 lifted now spring hits tie rod

I put a 4" lift on my cj5, Now my tie rod does not clear the spring. Has anyone run into this problem. It looks like I could put the tie rod on the top side of the spindle, but that would require different ends and reaming the holes. I was hoping there is an easy way. Any help would be greatly appreiciated.

Do you mean the drag link? Did you install a drop pitman arm? You can do a rod flip with inserts & a reamer (a few of us have the reamer and will lend it out).

its the tie rod that goes from spindle to spindle when it crosses over the springs there is no clearence. Is flipping it to the top side the only cure for it.
