cj5 iam tall and fat stupid brother inlaw pissed off wife

long story short ive always wanted a cj5 lurked on this board for a year couldnt take it anymore bought a cj5 on ebay 11 months ago.... wife had no idea... i bought it felt like a daughter trying to tell parents shes knocked up... finally told her.... slept in the basement for 8 days paid 2 college kids to fetch it home ...when it arrives iam all grins stupid brother inlaw says your too big to fit in there and you know they will roll and kill you,, wife says sell it you will roll it and get killed . i say no ... i hide in the garage for 10 months searching posts on all the mods and repairs it needed ...did all the work myself ..... camo clad 360 motor notched wheel wells ferrero seats lift kit tons of front end parts spray on liner many many other things all answers found here , id sit in the garage after work just sittin in it reving the motor shaking the walls watching cans of carb cleaner vibrate off the bench and dreaming , last week in sc it hit 70 degrees i could not take it at lunch i call the insurence company get it insured make up a lie and take off work , 20 minutes later iam sittin sideways on the highway with 200 foot skid marks behind me and thats not countin the one in my underwear the rear end locked up with no warning doing 65mph it was on two wheels it least twice before i ended up blocking two lanes of traffic and causing a huge traffic jam i even heard annouced on the radio as i was waiting for the cops to come ..on a brighter note between all the cussing people were yelling out there window a few did say nice jeep iam not too sure if it was sarcasim but i dunno... cops came got a 150 tow i now sit hiding in the dark in my garage typing this and ask whats a good rear end for a 78 cj5 i wanna upgrade my amc20 and need to know what years did cj make really good rear ends? and are older cj5 axles better? and if i can put my disk brakes on a 75 or so drum front axle? lol i would lurk and search but i really need to talk to people who understand me lol

thats a great story it remindes me why im not married. lol. my girlfriend knows the jeep comes before her and if i had to choose between the two she would be gone. same goes for her and my dog. the dog comes first. anyways the amc 20 is a good rearend fix it and keep it. and i want to see a picture of your jeep.

well you are determined!!
buy the wife a super present so you dont have to sneak around!!
look at currie 44s or something similar already set up with discs.
