cj3a/b wrangler spring swap...

what exactly is involved in converting an older cj3 to use wrangler leafs? i've been searching through the web and pretty much found that the wrangler leafs are much longer and the shackle locatons need to be moved. is this the rear only or both? or is it going to be more of a figure it out as you go type of thing? thanks for any info.

You'll need to figure it out. You'll need to replace & relocate the spring hangers and the shackle hangers both front & rear.

It's on a CJ-5, but I'd wager that it's close enough to what you need to do that it'd be useful.

hmm. i bet that is pretty close. i'll have to look into that more. the only thing i found was that there used to be a bolt on kit (4 wheel plus parts or something. no longer avail) and that you had to be careful as to perch location.
