cj2a clutch adjustment problem... HELP!!!

so.. i just got my 1947 cj2a... hasnt run since early 80s... got the engine running well... redid the brakes... and tried to put it into gear... the clutch is like totally stuck in the engaged position. ... so now what? what would cause this? is it as simple a an adjustment? or should I just suck it up and by the clutch kit?

ANY HELP IS VERY APPRECIATED!
