CJ Withdrawals

This is my first winter as a CJ owner and boy has it been a long one. I have a hard top, hard doors and a heater, but it's just not the same as riding with the top and doors off. I quit smoking this winter, but not driving the CJ with the top off has been worse. March can't get here soon enough! Luckily I live in Texas, so we have a few days now and then I can get my fix. I feel for all you guys up north. Anyone else feel like this or should I see a head doctor?

I took my CJ out of storage not more than two weeks ago as we had a nice day in the NE in the 50's. With no top or doors, I take any opportunity to drive it out and about.

I put my CJ away for the Winter on December 1st. It is hard going without it for so long but it is for the best. There is so much salt on the roads in MN that the blacktop highways look like concrete.

I put mine away back in November/ December. I stored I at my brother's house which is about 30 minutes away. I couldn't live without it so I now part my DD outside and the 7 in my garage. I think my 7 was stored at my brother's for a month before I brought her home.
I'm glad that I brought her home because I've been able to do to s of work on it.

killeen is pretty far south, why are you not driving with the top down. most winter days are in the 70's. i know people in seattle that drive all year round without tops.

I just put on more clothes. Although I do have upper doors for the very cold days.

FYI: according to the Weather Channel app, your forecasted low temps are higher than a lot of our forecasted high temps.

I keep watching the weather to see if it will be nice enough to take the top and doors off myself, I really want to paint my jeep first and then go around and cruise

I was thinking more like southern Texas high/low of 70/40 vs northeast high/low 40/30. At least that is what this week looks like.

Gotcha...it was high 70's/low 80's here today, and now it's about in the low 60's....stupid Okinawa weather.

I passed through Okinawa back in the Fall. I wish we had more time to spend there.
