A CJ uses 3 bolts to hold the light on . All of the trailer lights I've seen use 2 studs, and don't have a reverse light.
The factory connection won't be on trailer lights , so that means soldering and shrink wrapping the connections in a difficult spot.

Take your light and go to a Truck supply store. I'm talking 18 wheeler parts place. They should be able to match up the light. I know a lot of trucks use the same lights as the ones on the back of our cj's.
Like Scrapman said, MANY class 8 trucks of different brands use these lights, so truck stops and other truck replacement part stores have them readily in stock. I got mine from NAPA, so I know they are available there, too.
