Naw.. I thought that too.. it's still straight (well, as straight as it's been since I've had it)

' I removed my grill from the old original mount and bolted it to the grill hoop which raised it a little.. that created the gap at the hood hinges.. plus, the hinges are loose right now. Actually, just about everything is loose right now..

This Jeep was never straight to begin with so I really don't care anyways.. I just keep my eyes peeled for cracks..

I'm either gonna make a new frame this year.. or do a buggy and keep my grill, hood and cowl area..

That's my buddy's YJ.. basically, the same drivetrain as mine except with a 118" wheelbase. Should be on the trail in about 3 weeks or so.. it's gonna be a sick ride.

Here's mine... I don't think I can use the Img tags yet, so if somebody else wants to...1980 Cj5, 4.10 gears, front rear lockers, one piece axle shafts, 4" lift, 33" mud terrains, 8,000 lb. ramsey winch

*sigh* I have such a long way to go and I only spend "discretionary funds" on the car projects. With a baby I don't have much of that any more.

That body is too rotted to save. I was given another free with some repairable rot. Maybe I can get around to it this year.

looks good enough to wheel. mine right above has two big holes in the floor...a chunk of galv sheetmetal and some sheetmetal screws took care of that.
