I'm calling it my retirement project.I hope to have it on the road by the time I retire.I think it should be done by then.....it's only 24 years from now.

yep..the po had put a yj front clip on it...the engine died shortly after...HUH,Do jeeps realy have a mind of there own?this is going to be a long term expensive build..frames solid as can be for a rust belt cj...going big..

hey Mudslide...

thanks a lot. It's a family project-....my dad did most of the chassis work (including the 0.030 bored Chevy 4-bolt main 350- he he he 8-), my brother did most of the body work, while I helped out with both. We all met up in GA last november, completely dismantled it, dad took the chassis home to MO while my bro and I worked on the body, then we all just met up again 2 weeks ago to put it all back together. We didn't quite finish, but almost. I'm picking it up next week. I'll post more pics when it's completed. ..Oh yeah, my mom is doing the custom upholstry- Loredo style. b.t.w., I'm from Fayetteville, AR but now I'm in FL. Are there a lot of Jeepers up there?
