How does she feel about it? Maybe I'm wrong but I get the impression you had to do some convincing to bring it home

Exactly. While that sounds good on the outset, it also means you'll have to work on two of them at the same time. Of course though.... that may mean a bigger garage for you. Guess theres always a rusty and a silver lining to every scenario!!

She likes it. I had to do zero convincing. I told her I was either going to get another motorcycle or a jeep. I decided jeep since Ive never had one, and I thought it'd be fun to load up the fam and head to the woods. I am still thinking I made the right choice.. Im hoping that she will want to drive it more. I enjoy the time we've spent in it so far, and its only been 3 weeks.

Been a long time comming, here she is out under her own power for the first time in over 10 years. The past 12 months have been really good to this old girl. Couldn't have gotten all the mods done without the members here. Thanks!

Man lots of awesome Jeeps in this thread; great way to burn through half a day! xD

Building out a Jeep is like trying to smother a fire with twenty-dollar bills. You just never have enough at once to put it out...

There are some sweet parts on this Jeep. Nice subdued build. I like them like that.

I love the stance of a CJ5 on full width axles.

Measure with a Micrometer
Cutter with an ax
Beat it to fit
Paint it to match
