I know, I was just kidding. But nowadays some people call the wranglers, liberties, commanders, etc.- a Jeep, instead of their model name. They don't realize there was actually a model called the "Jeep", such as your 47' or any MB/CJ version of the Jeep.

Had I guy I worked with telling me he also had a Jeep. I said drive it in so I can see it...next day he pulled up in what I believe was a Geo Tracker

I have a 5 yr old daughter who doesn't call me dad but "jeep buddy". She has been trained- my brother in-law told her he got a jeep and then showed up with a Liberty. She proceeded to tell him that was NOT a Jeep.... and argued her point.

Here is mine 1962 CJ-5 . It was my grandfathers jeep and has been in stored in my aunt garage for years. I finally convinced her to sell it to me so it can see the sunlight again.
