Nice looking Jeep. Do you use a hardtop with it by chance? I was wondering how well the rollbar fit with it if you did. I like the looks of that and I'm debating doing a family style add on but I haven't seen many I like that would still work fine with the rear hatch of a hardtop and headroom for the backseat occupants. Do you have any side views of your Jeep?

Renegade- First, thank you for your service to our country. My dad is soon to retire from the navy after almost 30 years as a chaplain. His first four duty stations were Marine corps bases, so I have a massive amount of respect for Marines- I actually went to the Naval Academy in hopes of becoming a Marine Helo Pilot, but just couldn't handle the Academy itself. Regret not enlisting or getting my commission after I graduated from college. Semper Fi.

I don't have a hard top for it, although I have contemplated it. The PO did have one for it, although I never saw it actually on the jeep so I couldn't be completely sure. I do know a couple guys who have one sitting around and I could definitely try to throw it on and see how it fits for you. I wish I had the time, ability and money to do what your doing with your CJ7 and I would give quite a bit to actually be the original owner - that is really cool. I hope your children/grand children appreciate how rare that is.

Chris - You are quite welcome. Thank your father for me as well. This country is well worth protecting.
That rollbar looks good and I think as long as the bar doesn't go higher than the B pillar bar I imagine I'd be okay fitting the top on it. No need for you to try it, the side view helps a lot.
I hope they appreciate it too but I'm not seeing it yet (very little help from my son). But if they don't, then I'm gonna have them bury me in it just to spite them!

By the looks of your profile, someone has already made the mods.

So as far a guidence and advise, one thing is guaranteed,

something will break and then you must fix it...

I like the Jeep in the top pic, not so much the Liberty in the bottom one.

Finally

This is my CJ7 I got about six months ago and then couldn't find the pics I took before I started working on it.
