Nice job, how many hours do you have in the prep and paint?

Man.....ALOT. Honestly I did it over about a two month period, with the last four days being the most labor intensive. I would say probably close to 80 hours including disassembly and welding in some new metal. It isn't show quality but it does look good - base white with a solid blue pearl mid coat and three coats of clear!

Man you did a great job on it. Who wants a show quality jeep anyways. Eventually I will pain mine a satin black but there is so many other projects to tackle before I can even think about paint.

Before/After '78 CJ7

A before and and after of my fourth CJ7 and, by far, the best I ever owned. The PO used it only for deer-hunting but it was surprisingly not rusted out. He showed me a picture of him crossing a swollen creek and the water was up to the headlights! It had the T18a transmission with the granny gear and would literally climb a tree.

Ow that is a clean jeep - amazingly straight body, wish mine had been that well taken care of!
