Ole Blue

Mostly stock 1984 CJ7 with 53,375 original miles, automatic, 4.2L, PS, PB, AC, Hard Top, Soft Top, Bikini Top, Custom Built Front Bumper by LCJ-DESIGN with Warn 8000 winch. I do some wheeling with it but nothing extreme. My trail rig is a 1974 CJ5 work in progress.

My 1974 CJ5. Was my first car. My parents sold it because the steering scared them (still scary to this day). I just bought it back from the guy we sold it to 20 years ago. Plan on restoring to stock with some very mild changes. Can't wait to get it rolling for some Jeep events.

That is too cool of a story!

You should start a thread here documenting everything along the way, as it would be a great way to reflect in the upcoming years!

Your jeep really looks good. That is a great story. Not many people get to buy back their first vehicle. I have a 1974 CJ5 also that I am working on to get back in good shape and make it a trail rig only.

Been wanting a jeep for a long time. Just retired and saw this one so I took it down to the frame and gave it a new life. Took out the I6 and dropped in a 350 chev. Not a boonie crawler, just for sunny days and parades with the veterans.

That's kind of what I was planning. We just dug up some pics of me and my little brother hanging from the roll bar when we first got. Its in really rough shape compared to when we had it. Anything that can leak is leaking. The floor boards are in rough shape and I'm pretty sure they aren't correct for this year or something the PO built. She's definitely a project but excited to have her back. Im normally a aircooled VW guy so this will be a first 4x4 build.

First...thank you for your service. Outstanding work it looks like. Can you share more pictures of the work in progress and more when completed? Thanks
