Nice wheelin' rig!

That environment looks to be far from PA as the license plate appears to be though?

Thanks. Good call on the plate and the desert. I'm military so the jeep is registers to PA to jeep the police off my back for the tires even though I'm living in Las Vegas

Newbie here with an old school stock 76 CJ5 with 92K original miles and still runs strong (albiet slowly bleeding to death at the moment, but we're working on that). We are going to beef her up some but we want to keep her pretty much "classic".

Your Jeep looks awesome. Sure is nice to see them unmolested and still running.

I agree. Not many Jeeps left. Gotta keep those that are, alive.

[QUOTE=cj7_blue;14108766]Here's my 80 CJ7 before and after finished restoration and engine swap with XJ.

Does this CJ have 5on4.5 hubs? Is it a YJ with a CJ clip?

Just wondering, I know it's an old post. I have never seen those rims on a 5on5.5 vehicle, and I thought that's what the CJ's were.

1995 YJ "Mabel", 2.5L Muncie SM465 np231j 4.88's HP30 Lockright JK 44 Detroit 33s CJ clip

Actually, it's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land."

my 1979 jeep cj7 304 v8

I have really enjoyed looking at the jeeps here, from the plainest to the most built up.

Here is my 1979 jeep cj7 304 v8. I drive it occasionally on the road and some on the farm. I have no real plans other than to fix items that break or are broken. I enjoy working on it. I enjoy driving it. In most of the years I have had it, it has sat in the barn. In the last few months I have made a point to get it moving. I mostly use it for odd jobs on the farm, like pulling posts and hauling tools around. It is a lot of fun. It goes where a truck cannot go.

It is mostly stock. Someone shot coat of paint over some body repairs and over the renegade stickers on the hood and side. I need to get all the gas gauge working and the temperature gauge and the oil gauge. Flashers work but blinkers do not work though they have. I moved something I guess working. Most of it works fairly well, wipers, heater etc. It smokes a little but drives pretty good. Headers are louder than I like but they came on it.

Purdy people in purdy jeeps wave at me. That took me by surprise at first.

Thanks for looking,

Great jeep. Two threads for you are: original looking CJ and red CJ club. Someone will chime in with proper links, I don't know how to do that.

Here's mine...trying to keep it as stock as possible...added a winch, radio, and hard top, that's about it.
