.
Thank you, Story goes as follows: Just bought it a couple months ago. I found it on craigslist (Colorado). I told the guy I would take it for the price we agreed but i couldnt get there for one week (9 hour drive). I know without puttting money down I was at risk of losing it...I lost it. The guy who bought it turned around and stuck it on ebay the next day. So I ended up paying 2 grand more for it. lol It sat at a family vaction home for 20 years. The whole jeep is completely stock. Its truley a joy to drive.

I had the same question when I was about to buy it. I went to the internet and found that some 82's didnt have the hood decal. I'm hoping someone on here can tell me why they did that. The paint is original and I see no evidence of a sticker being there....not sure

Here is my rig I ordered from the factory. Don't know of another factory 1985 CJ that is the same color combo. It is loaded with auto and with 13,500 original + miles. All the stainless and rubber is all that has been done to the CJ. It has been as far north to the Yukon River at Circle, Alaska which is above the Arctic Circle and up as high as you could go above Central, Alaska in the Northern part of the Alaska Range at the repeater stations that they service by helicopter and as far south to the Florida Keys at Fort Zachary Taylor Park on Hgwy 1A and points in between. I took deliver in Hot Springs, Ark. at Mid-America Motors now Tim Parker Chrysler.

I am new here and the first time to join any forum. So, Hell-o.
