Soft top for my CJ7

So I have a question, I built a new roll cage for my jeep. I knew the new cage would not fit my hard top due to it being slightly wider then the inside of the hard top.

My question is, does anyone know if a soft top would still fit and would I need just the top or all the hardware insde. below is a couple pics of the jeep now.

Thank for all the help.

What better place for my first post. For now I'll just call it a future project, it is currently my parts runner and crop checking vehicle.

Softopper is a frameless soft top. The YJ family rollbar style my just fit your CJ7. Since the tubs are basically the same, and with your rollbar it may just work. http://www.softopper.com/jeep-wrange...p-details.aspx

I don't think it will. It looks pretty wide at the top and the soft top frames come in at the top the same way the HT does. Should't be too hard to find a Bestop somewhere around that you can get in with tape measure.

My new purchase. Still needs some work but I'm hoping I get years of enjoyment out of it.

I would say welcome to JF, but it seems that you've been a member/lurker for a while here.

In that case, welcome to the CJ crowd!

That's a sharp looking 'glass '5 you got there.

You should start a thread in the CJ Tech section for it, and keep us updated with your upcoming projects on it.

Update here got my frame ino a roller and the gas tank painted black and installed. And the carb rebuilt and installed. Engine vein dropped in in a few weeks. And hopefully will be started soon the engine is done for the most part just have a couple things like the oil pressure line to Install if I can find it haha. And to adjust the carb to factory settings. And new spark plugs because I used mine as plugs to cover the cylinders as I painted them.
