Ha my girlfriend thinks I'm an idiot for spending as much as I do on it. Probably just wants me to spend it on her. Is it bad that she will go before I ever think of getting rid of the jeep?

Pretty similar but not directly from him. Started with a base rear bumper/carrier from Nates 4x4 (made here in Michigan) and then welded on my own finishing touches like light tabs, D-ring swing anchors, etc. Front is a JCR bumper (another prop to Michigan haha).
