Here is my 81 CJ-7. A lot of good work and lots of time invested when I bought it, but there is a boatload more stuff to fix - bodywork, interior, tops, dash, wiring(works, just ugly). One day and lots of money later it'll be there...

I think I just found my inspiration for my Jeep's lift/tire size. That looks like the perfect balance between stock and modified/lifted.

'84 restore project
will finish the interior (floor and seats this fall).. took longer than I thought it would stripping this thing to bare metal and repairing what needed fixing.. then prep and paint, sand and paint, over and over until it looked like this..

1977 CJ7, 304 amc, TH400 quadratrac, dana30, AMC20, SOA, 2.5" CJ springs front and rear, 35" M/T MTZ
Still not done, and it's actually all one color now (black), and the driveshafts are done and installed (they are not in the pics.) Need fuel and brake lines, install seats, and building bumpers. yes I will probably need wheel spacers also (or different wheels). May do a tie rod flip also.
sorry for small pics, I don't have a photobucket account.

Looks tall and tipsy. Those narrow tracks? Might want to widen it up some
