Bought my CJ back in October. Swapped the body for a 90 YJ and the hood, fenders and windshield frame are new. Painted it deep night blue and line-x'd the inside. Replaced the seats with rugged ridge seats. Just need to but some soft half doors, new tires (looking at 33x12.5r15 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ) and wheels - not sure if to go black or aluminum(feedback welcomed). Also need to replace front and rear bumper and install a sound system. I will also be replacing the center console with a tuffy box with the radio mounted inside.
I ran MT mtz for several years. GREAT tire. Awesome in the snow and did pretty well in the mud. Only complaint is louder road noise than expected once I put some miles on them and were going above 50mph. I personally love black rims on jeeps but anything will look good on your jeep besides chrome.

Moab is Mecca....I feel like crying when I load my rig back on the trailer to go home...And robrich, it is absolutely breathtaking as is the entire Moab Rim Trail...both the beauty and the fact you are driving nearly vertical to get to the top!
You'd think the local government or conservationists would get upset by people wheeling out there. Over in West Michigan, there is only one big place that you're allowed to wheel on along the lake (Silver Lake Sand Dunes), and I assume quite a few two tracks all over the place, but they're either on private property or in control of the DNR.
