My all original 1976 CJ5 Renegade Levi's Edition

Here's my ALL ORIGINAL 1976 CJ5 Renegade Levi's Edition. The paint, decals, seats, ect.. is all original and never been modified. It has the 304 V8 with the T-150 3 speed. The paint code is 6V "Sunshine Yellow" which I have been told is the rarest color made. It has 69k original miles.

What kind of lift is that? Looks like a good height. Also, what about the top?

You need 50 posts or you can buy a membership or you can paste a link into your post and somebody will put the pic up for you.

It has a 2" rancho lift, I really like it because it gives it just enough height to look good but no too much. Unfortunately, the only top I have for it is a bestop tan soft top and doors. I would love to find an original Levi tan Whitco top and doors for her.

My 7 CJ5... in progress

Hi I'm busy building a '78 CJ5. The specs are 33 MTR's, 4" lift, 350ci Chev with 350 turbo 3spd auto. I'm almost done see the pics attached. Can't wait to get this this going

When I bought it

A later pic (after I build the rollcage and fitted the seats)

After fetching it from the exhaust shop

The engine

I'm just waiting for a new radiator and tank. I still need to finish the spray work and wiring.

Did you shorten the back bed? It looks longer in the original pic?

Hi all

Jip. A previous owner added a section into the body at the back. Firstly it was done badly and secondly it had a bad effect on the departure angle. So I cut the back end to the original size. I also had to take the whole body down to the metal. There were spots that had up to 15mm of bondo. The front fenders are new, but I had to replace various sections on the body as rust had it's way with it.

Anyhow, I'm almost done with the body. In about two months I need this CJ to run. It's been a six year project (didn't get to much time to work) that needs to end.....
