Just making an observation, but on that red, white and blue "flag Jeep" it looks like either the shocks are too short or the engine is too heavy.

Hey BadgersDen and zbd74, I am planning on trimming up my fenders in a similar way to both of yours. Did either of you do anything to reinforce the remaining sheet metal or was it strong enough as is?

Well here are some pics of my CJ-7. Just picked it up a couple weeks ago. Needs a good bit of work. My first Jeep, looking forward to having some fun with it.

Holy Sh_ _! That 77 CJ-5 looks freak'n great! I sort of have a ways to go ... I almost removed my pic - it's just sad! But I guess many of us have been here at 1 time or another

Sherm's..don't fret man,....I am just finishing up a project not much differnt than that pic..patience, don't cut all the bad stuff out at once, don't buy over the counter body parts (IMO), make you own. This looks to be a fun project...the great thing, ya gots good seat...don't compare your ride with ayone elses, buy, build, drive what you want, you're the one paying and working on it. So what if it takes a few years, it's a project, not main transportaion.it isn't the solution to Obama Care..it's your own person kewl ride...again, all in my opinion..if you don't agree with it, I'll double your money back..

neat pic. It is always great to see a classic parked next to the new generation.
