I'll definitely be subscribing to your build thread. Always enjoy seeing old Jeeps being ressurected on these forums. I highly respect individuals such as yourself to take on such a project.

Don't mean to be a naysayer, it's just that I don't think I've ever seen a tub that far gone where the owner wants to save it. That's going to be a whole lotta welding and metal work? How's the frame, and what level are you restoring it to?

The frame has one hole in the very rear that was under a 1/2 thick piece of metal the PO bolted in years ago. I am bracing up the tub with angle iron so it can be removed from the frame. Then I will be stripping it too a bare frame and taking the frame to be sand blasted so I can box the front frame horns and rear end of the frame. It will be getting saginaw steering, hanging pedals, and an engine rebuild among many other things.

check with shane pace in risingfawn GA....i bout 2 cj5 tubs form him for a ouststanding price....both were 68's.....not postive but he had a bunch laying around when i bough tmine....but i cuttem up and making a off road trailer for the jeep......will get u a number asap.....
