My first jeep I bought it 8 months ago but just got it running 2 months ago with rebuilt engine, tranny, and t-case. I resized all of the pics but some are still big and I don't know why.
It's yellow and sweet looking, therefore I'm helpin ya out. BTW: Your seats look a LOT like mine, though mine are cotton, and yours look like neoprene or whatever. Care to share what brand, and where you got 'em?
no prob. BTW: thanks for putting the pics up for me. The seats I got off of ebay. tried finding out what brand they are and I cant find it. The seller was a1performanceparts_com and heres a link to the only style left that I could find in his store : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-99...temZ8051289531
My seats, though I wanted neopreme due to water and mud, are vinyl I still find that they repel the elements pretty good with a little scotchgaurd water protectant thanks again
Bigyellajeep, how did you get your seats for free? Since I have gotten it on the road (and in the mud) people have been just been stairing at it and tell me things about how the tires are 2 big. Its cool though because I know there telling me whats going to happen. After I got the tires and upgraded the ring and pinion I realized that later in life I am going to tear up the front end. So until that happens I will keep on going. And when it does I am going to go with D44's all the way around.
Psh, I LIKE those big tires, haha. Though I'm a Mickey Thompson Baja Claw fan myself..
Well, I ordered the seats for real cheap from a company (about $80 when they are easily in the mid hundreds). I waited and waited for about 4 months or so, and finally cancelled the order since I hadn't gotten them. Then, a week later, I get the seats in the mail to my suprise. I call them back and tell them, and they tell me to just keep 'em...for free. Didn't even pay shipping, haha.
Actually, I feel that the AMC 20 is stronger (when beefed up a little) than the D44. That's for the back though. For the front, I agree that you will need something bigger and beefier up there.
