Thank you very much Sir, and I must say that is one sharp looking '5 you got there too. I really dig orange CJs, and to this day I still don't know why I didn't paint mine orange, instead of Black.

Now I can finally take 'er out into the dirt without worrying about old, cracked, mismatched tires.

See above i click the reply on the wrong one

On the passenger side I used some 0000 steel wool on the old letters to take the gradient color layer off (leaving them solid yellow) and they look better than the sorta burnt looking ones on the driver's side, so I might just do that all around, but... The hood looks as though it was either flung open hard by someone, or they forgot to latch it down and the wind blew it up, because it's got a bad dent from the window frame. So I'm not sure if the hood's a keeper or not, but I'll probably leave it on unless I get the whole Jeep painted.

Long story short (kind of), I'd like to do new decals, but only after I repaint her.
Does that answer your question?

Yeah, old letters. I took her out for the first time yesterday! Wow, man does she run great! I love it! Not sure if this will work or not, but I shot some video while we were out in the desert.

There are a couple of other vids from that trip with the Jeep runnin, so you can kinda hear what it sounds like. I've got some exhaust work to do to it, but may not get to that for a few more weeks.

Made in Canada?

I have a '79 CJ7. The VIN sticker on the dash say "MFD by American Motor (CANADA) LIMITED. Is this CJ7 the same as those assembled in the US? Is it uncommon? I'm just curious. I love my CJ all the same.
