That was a damn good trade. I traded my first jeep for a 4 wheeler that barley run and blew more smoke than a hippie at woodstock.

Would you happen to have AIM or MSN IM? I want to ask what size tires I can fit with a 1" body lift with no rubbing.

Glad you guys liked it.

I do have messenger. My e-mail is oneton401@msn.com

Happy to answer any questions about mine or yours too.

I will still do a write up for the project. Should I put it in the CJ area or somewhere else? I'm not sure if I can post pictures yet, but thanks to those who did for me.

I don't have AIM or MSM IM... start a thread about what you're considering and we'll post on that...

And tvl76, when were you abused? All the guy said was he thought your dash was ugly. It is!!

I have a CJ5 with very Bright Red Kelsey Hayes steel wheels. Now my brother and some other people think that the truck looks very stupid with the wheels Red. I personally love the red wheels. That is why Iíve kept them on the truck. Now there are some other people who also love the red wheels and have urged me to never change the colour of the wheels.

I just tell my brother that he has absolutely no taste at all when it comes to old Jeeps, which is my opinion about his taste. He says my taste is in my ***. So what?

With something as stark and way over the top, ( like the dash or my red wheels), or quite far off of the middle ground, people will either Love it or Hate it.

Xcrossed doesn't like the dash, so what? So what if he said it's ugly, so what if he said it looks like it was done by an "amateur pinstripe artist". What does that matter?

Xcrossed didn't attack anyone, just an ugly Dash!

That last thing we need here in this forum is a Mutual Admiration Sycophantic attitude. Please don't let this forum turn into that. Because that would be a big shame and a lie!!

Now on with the show and more Jeep PICs please.

Todd.

Here is a Pic of my Jeep with the ugly Red Wheels:

My point is this, this post was all positive until some guy from BFE decided to tell the world, that a fellow jeep owners rig is ugly. I am not the only reader that has negative opinions about some, if not all of the jeep "photos" shown, but I have the respect for you other jeep owners to keep my mouth shut and let you enjoy what you are so passionate about. Maybe if I were a better photographer, or even better yet, I'll just avoid showing photos of my jeep on this forum, then my dash would appear less ugly.

Those are older classic style "Aluminum Slots". I'll bet somebody still makes them. Another good place would be a swap meet.

Looks like he has them all pollished up to look alot newer than they really are. Nice!
