Ok So if you have noticed I am pretty new here but man do I love it here. The wife keeps harasing me about time spent here. Well I think that it is time well spent.

Anyhow I finally bought my first Cj (wanted one since before I could drive((I am 35 now))). I am still waiting on getting it shipped here(Iowa from Utah).

Some folks may have seen it, it was on ebay. I have talked with the PO and I have even seen the jeep first hand when I was in Vegas.

Well in talking with the PO he did have some things done to it to finish some driveline items but other than that he cant really say much about what was done because he bought it soon after someone else did a "rebuild" and he has since put roughly 8000 miles on it.

So what I am getting at is I hope someone on this here great site Might know a thing or two about this Jeep. ( will try and post pics below)

Okay here is the link to ebay. I think this will work but not sure.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...D11%26_fvi%3D1

Well I hope somebody knows something about it because I sure would like to talk with the person who "built it from the frame up". Nothing bad or anything just would like some info and if they might have taken any pics that would be great.

thanks
Clint

85 Cj7

I haven't been to this site in the last long while, but since I finished my CJ7 (well, it's never truly finished) I thought I'd post up. Bought it last October as a project. Came with a 305V8, TH400, D300, AMC20 with one piece shafts, D30 front, fiberglass tub and fenders, etc. etc. But it all had to be put together and finished up. Just a winter project of course.

Now I have to decide if I'm going to keep it or not. I built it as a daily driver for my wife, but she has just picked up a TJ on one of those "crazy if we don't buy it" deals. And the V8 with a modified TH400 is not something she was happy about anyway

Sure thing, Bob

This pic was taken last December - the Jeep has come a long way since then.

Here's another angle taken yesterday.

Wicked-wide? Naw, the right side arm is 3" out and the driver's side arm is 2" out. Add the width of the TJ mirror arm - about another 1-1/2". Subtract the actual distance for the OEM mirrors and mine aren't out that far.

I got tired of fighting the windshield frame, the wiper blade and the triangular window just to see out the passenger side mirror. They push out of the way quite easily for off-roading.
