CJ Parts

Normally I post when I have a dumb question, but today I am so fired up that I just have to get this out.

I went shopping for a transmission today. The guys wanted a T4 and Dana 300 for $100. He then offered a complete AMC 258, a 1995 4.0l block and head, a 2000 4.0l block and head for another $100.

Then when he knew I was there to buy parts.. he said he wanted all of his parts gone and told me for $200 I can have them all... I said all of what parts... He then opened his storage unit and had 3 CJs worth of spare parts in it.. He said you can have it all.. I ended up with 3 pairs of buckets seats, 2 windshield frames, 2 sets of hardtop doors, 2 complete dashs, etc etc...

What a great score... I think I may have to start an eBay store.. Going to unload this stuff cheap... my gain will be your gain..

No Axles.. I need an AMC 20 and Dana 30 carrier so that I can swap out the 2.72s to a 4.11 gear ratio..

Would be willing to swap some seats or a banged up T5 transmission for a set of carriers and gears for these axles.

That is a great finds, congratulations to you.

I have two CJ's, both in need of seats. I am guessing it is not even worth thinking about shipping, probably be more than the seats themselves...

Good find,

Jason

You dont know of any over the road truck drivers that would be making their way out east, they could stop and pick them up for you.

A friend of mine bought a dragster chassis in Florida and had a guy he knows hauling potatoes pick it up and put it on top of the pile of potatoes and bring it north.

No... all the seats are high back buckets... 1 set is black with the CJ impregnated into the material. Nice shape too.
