Cj hood prop bracket

any one have one of these laying around in there parts box.
i think its called the hood prop bracket

Has anyone got a couple of good clear photos of how the prop rod is to be used with the hood prop bracket? Using the prop rod seems awkward and clumsy, I wonder if the bottom bracket may be bent down too much after many years of abuse.

Thanks! I saw a couple of similar pics but was not confident they were correct.
It is funky the way the prop sticks through the hole and balances on the brace rod below it. In the picture offered I see a piece of hose or other coating on the brace rod. In my situation the prop slips off the brace rod and threatens to pass further through the hole. That is after almost forcing it through the hole to begin with. I'll have to make some fine adjustments to improve it's use.
