Cj and holly carb?
 
K so put holly 2 bbl carb on cj 7 with 258 even started right up ! But I need to figure out linkage any Ideas ? Throttle pulls down from bottom to pull back

The Holley 2 barrel carb is very similar to the MC 2100. There is lots and lots of ways people changed the linkage on those to work on jeeps. Personally, it took me an "L" bracket bolted on to the existing linkage to make it work. Something similar to the bracket on page 22 of this document.

My Jeep came with a Holley 2bbl on it, although the Jeep wasn't running. I got it started finally the other day and have the pedal installed and connected on the new body. I can try to take some pics of the linkage tonight if I make my way out to the garage.

I didn't build the linkage, but it works so not changing it. Definitely a downward pull.

By Holley 2bbl I assume you are talking about the 2300. I have a Holley 2 bbl (5200) on my Samurai but I don't think it is enough carb for a 258 I6. ;)
