Another look at the CJ Express!

Here's a couple of pictures from my leg of the trip. My grandson Daniel came a long for the ride, and kept me on my toes... The hitch that T8ter sent is awesome, thanks for blessing us! The entire time of transfer went with out a problem. I'm sure I was as tired as Daniel in the last picture... On to meet Biotex Monday. God bless.

Pictures are awesome guys, I'll be hooking up my trailer in a few hours to get ready for my leg.

Glad your trip went without a hitch (no pun intended).

I noticed a day or two ago that my lift pump was leaking diesel out of the weep hole. It is a result of me running 100% biodiesel which is very hard on rubber. Hope I don't have an issue. I'll pick up a spare pump when I get to El Paso and make sure I have the necessary tools on board to change it out.

It will probably make it, but better safe than sorry!

Update

Sorry about not posting yesterday. A friend (Robert) came along on the trip with me, and he brought his 4G camera phone with him. We took some pictures, but when we tried to upload them, we found the upload speed was sooooo slow. No 4G coverage, and we kept getting disconnected during the uploads. Got frustrated and quit trying. (aren't we getting spoiled)!

So the trip to Las Cruses was uneventful. Rob and I stopped in El Paso and purchased some new tires, a hood, and a fender. Rob is building a 4x4 up and since we were arriving a bit earlier than expected, we were happy to kill some time.

After the shopping trip, we pulled in to the truck stop and ordered some lunch. Jon arrived about 10 minutes later, so we got to eat and chat. Jon was pretty worn out from all the recent traveling, but it's all good you know.

After lunch we backed up my trailer to Jons, and the three of us pushed the CJ7 onto my trailer. Jon took a bunch of pictures and i'm sure he will be posting them soon. I tied it down, and we departed.

Jon gave me a package that had the receiver hitch in it. It must be a monter judging by the weight of the box. Can't wait to check it out. Kudos to T8ter

Robert and I took the oppertunity to hit some salvage yards while in El Paso. They had 2 cjs, but were both hit way too hard to use any parts that were still left. I did find some MJ parts I need. The JY trip caused us to get into Alpine around 8:30 PM, so too dark for pictures. I'll get some later today.
Thanks to all for your support.
