Update

Some of you guys will remember this thread about how once again the jeep community came together to help one of our brothers. I figured it was long overdue I update this thread.

A couple years ago SGT (former) Jensen acquired a new project, and due to the long distance away, he felt it was time to let go of the CJ Express. I found him a buyer in my area, and the deal was done. Now, last week the buyer comes to me to see if I want the CJ because he never got around to working on it.

We agreed on a price and now I own the project, so here I am once again!

More to come...

Currently:
79 CJ7 "CJ Express" 4.2L, NV4500, D44 rear
69 800 with SBC, SM465, NP205, 14BT

Eric,
That is a blast from the past! You have got to update with pictures! I still remember eating lunch with you at the truck stop where we met to transfer the CJ express. God bless.

Oh man, that's a good twist to this story! I had to go back and look at some of the pics for the thread. Do we even know what the original thread was?

Never mind. I found it! Here's the start of the story in November, 2011:

How about I start a new build thread and reference these two? I have already ordered a bunch of parts.

If you do (or did), link to it from this thread so we can find it!
