CJ Exhaust Picture request

I've been building my 78 CJ, 304, quadratrac on paper, parts lists, part orders and in my head for the last couple of months. I'm down the exhaust.

The exhaust right now is turned out in front of the rear wheel with what looks to be some kind of "cherry bomb".

I am debating putting on some "nerf bars", "side bars" or whatever you call them in your region.

Will you guys please post your pics of your exhaust setups... Rear output, side output... etc... I'm trying to figure out which way to go.

Thanks all.....

I've done lost my mind...... mind.... mind.... mind..... mind..... what a silly word.

Here's mine.

My muffler guy is the designer of the "Rock Crawler Crossover" that you see in my pics.

It wasn't cheap, but I think I got what I paid for.

IMHO nothing sounds better than a 304/360/401 with headers and side pipes. If you have some fab skills just make your nerf bars to mount around the pipes. Here is a little video of my CJ7 with Headman Headers and side pipes.
