CJ on EBay!!!

Some of you guys may recall a thread I posted last week about my bud's 83 CJ-5....well, he's got it up on Ebay right now with a reserve of $3500. I've seen the pics...looks REALLY nice for it's age.

Here's the link:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jeep-...fCarsQ5fTrucks

Hope it goes to a good home!

the mean the Jeep with about 35K original miles, the Jeep that he was going to GIVE you for nothing, the Jeep which you said "no-thanks" to????

you, my dear friend, are an idiot!

J/K...

looks like a nice ride, and a good score for someone!

Ask your buddy if that's a rust hole on the passenger side under "Jeep".

Gotta deduct points if it is.

wow, did you read that? its four wheel drive and the doors come off! isn't that the definition of a real jeep? if he were a good friend i would have taken it for free and offerd a reach around as i drove off in it.

It's spent it's whole life in Michigan. That Jeep is fortunate to have ANY body left at all.

He never said he would "give" it to me...and I wouldn't have "taken" it from him for nothing anyway...I knew it was worth some coin, and I don't have the time in my life for another toy. No reason at all for the flaming...unless that's just the way you roll around here.

X2, that's amazing it looks that nice. Not only the salt, but our crap roads will vibrate any loose products.

no flaming whatsoever... sorry if you took it that way. (and the reason for the J/ K and )

all kidding aside, most of us here would treat our friends exactly as you have...

(kidding back on) with the exception of being a bit lighter in the pocket, and having one more Jeep in the driveway

You were just being razzed; don't go away mad as most folks here take LOTS of time to help fellow Jeepers out. You have to understand that we are all CJ fanatics (its a sickness) and when you originally posted, it seemed that your friend was going to (if I remember correctly) "give it away, literally". Of course we're gonna jump all over that one if you didn't get it (even with all your other toys) because once again, we're 'CJ freaks' and THAT's HOW WE ROLL!

Dig it boys...no worries on this end. I'm holding off on taking the big plunge into Jeep addiction for a couple years...planning on selling my boat and moving to Colorado in a bit...I'll have to do something with that money...and I'm gonna make sure I move within striking distance of Ouray.

Have a good one.
