Does anyone have the articles from Four Wheeler, Off-Road, 4Wheel Drive & Sport Utiliy, etc. about the end of Jeep production, roughly the early part of 1986? I had saved mine but somehow they disappeared and none of the magazines will help with articles back that far. Please post what you have on the demise of the Jeep.

If you find any such articles please post them. I'd like to see those too. I was 10 at the time, although I had already spotted an Almond Beige CJ-7 around the corner that I wanted.

I notice on the 3rd page, far right column, second paragraph they talk that the left hand suspension is "lowered" for the road camber present in the American road system, where we also drive on the right. Interesting comment in regards to the typical jeep lean everyone talks about.

I remember going to Sears to order parts with my dad for his CJ. I still have some of the catalogs showing all the original steel top options, and all the parts options from bumper to bumper.
