Cj Axle gears

MY question is a simple on so please don't crucify me haha, Will the internals ( ring gear and pinion, carrier, and lockers) out of narrow track D30/AMC20 fit right into a widetrack D30/AMC20? I would think it would but I just dont want to waste any time or money. Thanks for any help. I know the shafts and such wont work as they are obviously different lengths. I am only concerned with the center parts

They are both the same.

The only stupid question is one that is not asked.

Thank you. I could not imagine that they would be different but nothing would surprise with me.
