cj-5 instrument pannel

hi all!!!

doing a restoration on a 73 cj-5 and i'm looking for a new instrument pannel. the previous owner cut new holes in the one i have to replace the fuel and temp guages instead of just fixing the broken stock guages. i'm sure he spent more time and money on retrofitting than if he had just done a little research. i hate fixing other peoples' misteaks!!!!!!!

anyway i need a new or untouched panel. i can find panels for the 76' or newer models but it's an entirely different setup. anybody out there have one for a 73' that they could part with or know where i can find one?

If you can't find one at a local junk yard, then try collins brothers (www.discountaccessories.com). I had the exact same problem and this is where I bought mine from.

I bought an original plate out of a junked laredo. They deal in used parts at collins brothers and I just called them up and told them what I was looking for. They gave me a price and now it is in my jeep. Have you tried looking at quadratec.com or 4wd.com? I believe that they have replacement dash panels witht the holes pre-cut.

I have a panel for a 75 cj5 I'm willing to part with. I'm not sure if it's the one you need.
