CJ 5 door locks

I have a 76 CJ5. Looking to buy a hardtop. The cj doesn't have door strikers installed. I need info on where to purchase and how to install them. Thanks!

You're kidding right?

If I understand your question correctly, the CJ-5 never had door strikers, it was soft top only, thus there are no door strikers.

They sold aftermarket fiberglass hardtops for them with fiberglass doors, but the doors latched to the top, not the body. Same with metal hardtops for CJ-5s. The only attachment the fiberglass/metal doors had to the body was the hinges.

If you get a Acme they have the strikers in the hardtop, but like tacjeep99 said, the CJ5 was the sporty convertible in the CJ line and they only offered softops, hardtops were aftermarket. Here's what a Acme looks like

to give you an idea on what to look for, or you can buy a new one from here
