CJ-5 axle swap

Ok. Once again, I need your advice. Stock 1980 CJ-5. Used mostly for street but will see hunting/offroad use too. I have a bent front axle. Since I have to replace, would like to widen axles. Quotes for Wrangler front axle:$350. For rear:$700 That is less shipping, and they don't have any in stock. What are the major hurdles and guestimate cost to swap with Dana 44s? Advice?

Thanks!

By the way, this assumes me doing all possible removal/instal welding, and parts changing. Also running 31" tires and want to keep rim bold pattern
