chevy 350 for a 85 cj7
it's from a chevy g20 work van- a 350 is a 350, right??
When is a 350 not a350? WHEN IT"S A 305! Seriously though, a lot of external components will interchange since the 305-350 are the same block. Motor mounts, alt. brackets, etc. should all fit either one.
i have a very leaky 258 right now. needs a RMS, and the clutch is going. I want to eventually put an 8 in it, so i don't see the point in taking it apart to replace the clutch and seal and then put an engine in it (while i do a frame up). i just bought the jeep, and won't be able to put money into it for a while-- actually considered selling it. but last night i found a very cheap 305 with the automatic trans.
