Ceramic Headers vs 2000 degree header paint

Was wondering from anyone who has brought ceramic headers how the finish has held up. Cant decide it I want to go that route or buy uncoated and hit them with the flat black 2000 header paint. The header paint has held up well on my 258 header.

Ceramic lasts but doesnt stay shiny forever. Good ceramic headers wont rust though. Header paint is a joke dont waste your time.

I used Dougs tri-Y in frame headers on a 360 in a cj-7 that are ceramic. These fit like a dream. Really happy with these! If interested I will try to get some pics up.

Would not mind seeing some pictures of how the coating looks. How long have you has them on? Thinking about going with a set of shorties. Might go hydro clutch in the future and they work beat without getting in the way.

Here are some pics., excuse the quality lighting is poor in garage. Really like these, notice how much clearance there is, lots of room between them and steering shaft, etc.
