That's what everyone thinks, but it's a cowboy hat made to "look" like a woman's vajayjay. The front has a cowboy's face.

Clitus shift knob featured in the March 2008 Peterson's 4Wheel and Off Road magazine.
It is new for 2008 not in any catalogs but available. Part number is KNOBVC1027
http://www.gennieshifter.com/

the view in the picture of the shift knob is of the top of Clitus' hat!!!,---not what you think guys!!!!, grin-----but the shifter makes my wife blush and makes me grin! But then again, everything makes me grin.

too bad I just redid mine... I had a 50 cal ammo can with the radio punched through the front face, and two speakers out the drivers side... till I left the top down during a rain storm. I just relocated the radio to a 30 cal ammo can bolted to the bottom of the dash, with the speaker that survived tied to the blower motor with bailing wire. The wiring looks like a bomb... and the whole thing is switched by a toggle switch hanging out of the mess! Ill have to find a picture of my old console for show and tell, you guys will get a laugh or two out of it.

Ammo cans and Mayo!

Wow! It looks like the ammo cans win hands down as the alternate center console! Very ingenious! And yeah, That is the prototype Max-Bilt Command Center Console.......and it's 3 years old!
Mayo, you're causing quite a stir here! Nice job with the teak on the console and did you use it to cover the old speaker cutouts on the dash? Good idea! Interested in the speakers you are using, apparently mounted on the bell housing hump........what are you using? Its seems like a great place for them with likely better sound "quality" that the unsealed dash speakers....

Ingenious, sure, but not original.

Max-Bilt was looking for original center consoles.

Can't get more original than having your heater/cup holder/ CB mount for a center console.

I am no judge but I just wanted to say that I love all the consoles... especially that one ^^^^^. The first time I saw it I think I asked outloud if it was a bomb? I think there's enough stuff coming/going from it, I definitely wouldn't want to mess with it. It looks like it could have booby traps! Very original indeed

And the Winner is

To be fair to everyone and to say thank you for participating there will be a few prizes

Most Original- 64Jeeper you took definitely created the most buzz around here with that one, sure was good looking please email me with your address so I can send you your hat and your 25 % off coupon

Best Appearance- Doober dawg I must say that yours is very elegant and seeing that you are thinking about putting that much elegance back into a CJ I need to offer you a 25 % off coupon and hat as well, again please email me with addresses and I will send you your winnings

The rest of you, thanks for playing, and if you are interested in a console please email me a pic of your center console that you would like to replace and I will honor it with your own 25% off coupon, I dont want anyone to feel like a loser so lets all win. Also while supplies last with a purchase of a console each console comes with an iSQUEEZE which is a foam ipod holder that fits in the cupholder, we use them here and fell in love so we figured everyone should have one.

Thanks for playing and we are taking suggestions for other console contests
Happy Jeepin
